Job Requirements : 

  • Collaborate with the front-end development team to implement design concepts and user interfaces into Big Commerce stores.
  • Hands-on experience with Big Commerce Stencil framework, Big Commerce theme development, and customization.
  • Having good knowledge of Handlebars.js
  • Customize and extend Big commerce themes to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Develop and maintain custom plugins, scripts, and applications using jQuery, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance store functionality and the user experience.
  • Familiarity with server-side programming languages
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues, ensuring optimal performance and site reliability.
  • Optimize website speed and performance through code optimization and server-side configurations.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce development and Big Commerce platform enhancements.
  • A minimum 2 years of experience in Big Commerce website development Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a backend developer with a focus on e-commerce platforms, specifically Big commerce.
  • Strong proficiency in jQuery, JavaScript, and related libraries
  • Experience working with Big commerce themes, templates, and the Stencil framework is a plus.
  • Having good knowledge of Handlebars.js
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
