Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Apply statistical methods and data visualization techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to assess the impact of changes and initiatives.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to measure business performance.
- Participate in the design and implementation of data collection tools and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and data visualization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related disciplines. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (X years) working as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in data manipulation tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply statistical concepts and methods to real-world data.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with data cleaning, transformation, and preprocessing techniques.
- Solid understanding of databases, data warehousing, and data architecture principles.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a curious mindset to explore data insights.
- Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling is a plus.
