Job Description
About Company – An early-stage startup with a global delivery center based in Ahmedabad and a team of more than 30 people.
Key Responsibilities –
- Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and
provisioning/maintaining IT infrastructure for DO platforms. - Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identifying technical problems and deploying software updates and ‘fixes’
- Collaborate with engineering team to ensure that development follows
established processes and works as intended - Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
- Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and
updating or creating new processes that are efficient and effective - Incidence management and root cause analysis
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous
development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required; master’s degree
is a plus - Minimum 3 years’ experience as DevOps Engineer or similar software
engineering role - Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
- Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java
- Configuration and managing AWS Cloud and its infrastructure
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
- Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud
services - Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles, especially
Lean-Agile framework - Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools
