Job Description
Job PURPOSE: Understand the Business requirement and design, develop web applications with Angular 8+ version and TypeScript. Leading the team to achieve company goals
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the team
- Should be the interface between the team and management.
- Proven experience in handling risks and providing mitigation strategies
- Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
- Preparing reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
- Analyzing and resolving technical and application problems
- Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and on-budget
- Providing third-level support to business users.
- Compliance with process and quality management standards
- Should have a solid understanding of the SDLC processes (Design, Construction, Testing, Deployment)
- Coordinating with the backend developers in the process of building the API.
- Implement new technologies to maximize application performance.
- Report the status with alarms, explanations, and solutions;
- Promptly escalate issues to the reporting manager
- Track and resolve issues
Primary Skills
- 6+ years of experience in Angular 2+ version, TypeScript,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Web Application development HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, Bootstrap.
- Been in a Lead role and led a team of 3-5 people for a period of 2 years
- Should have a very good understanding of the project architecture
- Should provide Technical guidance to the team to get the task completed on time.
- Assist the project manager in the project coordination/management
- Must be experience in GIT and version control systems
Secondary Skills
- Experience in analyzing existing code and debugging.
- Experience in developing the product
- Should have a solid understanding of the SDLC processes (Design, Construction, Testing, Deployment)
- Should have good experience in following DevOps processes using Jenkins or any other DevOps tools
- Should have experience in Test Driven Development using Jasmine and Protractor
- Proven experience in delivering on time and with quality
- Should have good unit testing skills to review his own development and identify all the defects and get them fixed before releasing the code
- Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components in Typescript and using responsive HTML and CSS.
Desired Skills
- Should have experience in developing ERP applications or Database Intensive Data Entry applications.
- Experience in project management life cycle process
- Hands-on experience in configuration management and version maintenance
- Prior experience working in the shipping domain
