Job Description

The Company provides internet-based automated products and services to the property and casualty insurance industry since 1999. Shelton, Connecticut, is its corporate headquarters. By developing proprietary custom software, it allows Managing General Agents (MGAs) and Excess and Surplus Lines Brokers (E & S) to extend rating, quoting, and binding capabilities to retail producers.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsibilities of this position include leading training and implementations for small to large-scale clients.
  • This candidate must have excellent communication and client management skills in order to maintain positive client relations.
  • This candidate must be a self-starter, who is able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • They must possess the initiative to produce improvement initiatives both internally and with clients.
  • The primary responsibility of the Implementation Manager is to lead a successful communication campaign.
  • Implementations, meeting timelines, and budget requirements.
  • Ensuring the project is implemented within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements is another responsibility.
  • The Implementation Manager will be responsible for managing multiple client projects at one time.
  • They will also be responsible for participating in internal projects as needed.
  • This role is responsible for scope management, change management, estimating impacts of scope change (timeline and cost) as well as managing project resources.

Position Specific Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring delivery according to project timelines in order to ensure revenue recognition according to forecast.
  • Configuration: Configure the application based on an implementation plan. (This does not require knowledge of any development language)
  • Presentation Skills: Provide online meetings and conference calls to orientate a new client, present new functionality, perform training, and collaborate with clients about concerns.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with Solution Architects and/or Engagement Managers to ensure appropriate follow-up of identifying client needs and follow-up activities.
  • Travel: Travel is required (25%) Project Management: Responsible for providing Engagement Managers and/or clients with updated implementation plans, which may include project schedules, project plans, benchmark metrics, communications documents, follow-up memos, etc.
  • Documentation: Responsible for utilizing (and creating) documents/deliverables necessary for providing exceptional services and ensuring communication of the project plan to the Engagement Manager and/or client.
  • Assist team in updating all implementation deliverables as required with new functionality rollouts.
  • Create new deliverables/best practices for implementation services to enhance implementation engagements.
  • Must be able to create new deliverables or follow standards of deliverables already in place.
