About Client: The company is headquartered in the USA, operates globally, and specializes in providing innovative web-based software solutions for the insurance industry The suite offers a comprehensive set of tools to create a Paperless Insurance Environment and is designed to automate processes and business operations while being customizable to each customer’s unique workflow. With a team of over 300 engineers located in multiple locations worldwide, the company has established itself as a pioneer in the development and sale of these software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- The automation test engineers will use their expertise and discretion to determine the best approach to automation based on requirements, and which framework to use (UI/API) for building or updating existing tests, and then proceed to design, write, and maintain the tests.
- The automation test engineer shall use existing tools in the client environment to build and modify test scripts but also must be open and ready to research, implement, and use other automation tools as needed to generate the target outcomes for the client.
- The automation test engineer will support the planning, design, and implementation of the automation frameworks.
- The automation test engineer must also work to analyze, optimize, and rationalize existing manual test cases to make the overall testing delivery more efficient and more conducive to automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or similar is a plus.
