Roles & Responsibilities –

  • Database Management: Lead efforts in managing and optimizing a wide range of databases, both SQL and NoSQL, to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Manage database clusters, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and load balancing to meet the organization’s performance and reliability requirements.
  • Technology Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of various database technologies and a proven track record of working with multiple databases to support the organization’s evolving needs.
  • Cloud Expertise: Manage databases in cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, and GCP, and contribute to the design and implementation of cloud-based database solutions.
  • Data Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data architectures, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data mesh, to support the company’s data-driven initiatives.
  • Performance Tuning: Monitor and fine-tune database performance to optimize query execution and ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Security: Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • Scripting Expertise: Have the knowledge and independence to create master-slave scripting code for database replication and synchronization.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
