Job Description

Key Responsibility:
 Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and
provisioning/maintaining IT infrastructure for DO platforms.
 Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes
 Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
 Identifying technical problems and deploying software updates and ‘fixes’
 Collaborate with engineering team to ensure that development follows
established processes and works as intended
 Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
 Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and
updating or creating new processes that are efficient and effective
 Incidence management and root cause analysis
 Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integrat ion, continuous
development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)

Job Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required; master’s degree is a plus
 Minimum 3 years’ experience as DevOps Engineer or similar software
engineering role
 Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
 Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java
 Configuration and managing AWS Cloud and its infrastructure
 Excellent troubleshooting skills
 Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
 Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud
services
 Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles, especially
Lean-Agile framework
 Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools
