Job Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10-15 years experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
- Experience working on Linux-based infrastructure.
- Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java.
- Configuration and managing AWS Cloud and its infrastructure ∙ Excellent troubleshooting
skills. - Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services.
- Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles, especially Lean-Agile framework & Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools.
Key Responsibility
- Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and provisioning/maintaining IT infrastructure for DO platforms.
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes.
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
- Identifying technical problems and deploying software updates and ‘fixes’.
- Collaborate with engineering team to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.
- Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes that are efficient and effective.
- Incidence management and root cause analysis.
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
