In this role, you will be responsible for creating and effectively communicating the look and feel of planned features to larger systems as well as standalone projects. This includes presenting layout, visual design, and interactivity in close coordination with the product team and UX direction, as well as seeing the designs through implementation and testing in close coordination with the development and QA teams. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.
Work Shift: 2 PM – 11 PM
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration with the product team to gather, evaluate and understand the product or feature’s business goals and user requirements. Partner with teams providing UX direction on designing and producing high-level as well as detailed design artifacts and reference material.
- These include graphical elements, UI components and interactivity, page-level and component-level layouts, process flows, sitemaps, block frames and interactive hi-fi prototypes, applying an understanding of usability principles, atomic design, interaction design, responsive design, and user-centered design.
- Effectively communicate your design to stakeholders and be able to explain and justify decisions.
- Collaborate with developers on ensuring designs are technically feasible during the design phase.
- Provide design guidance to developers throughout the implementation process.
- Collaborate with the QA team on ensuring designs are built per-spec.
- Keep up to date with design and methodology best practices and design tools.
- No technical degree, should be a Graduate in design only.
