Roles and Responsibilities:
- Proficient in Kotlin with strong familiarity with the Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack libraries.
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles and how to apply them in Android development.
- Strong grasp of composition vs inheritance in object-oriented design
- Experience with architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, and MVI, and an understanding of why they are favored in modern Android app development.
- Experience with geolocation services, including location tracking and mapping functionalities.
- Strong experience with API integration and working with RESTful APIs.
- Experience with RxJava, Koin, Retrofit, and Dagger for dependency injection and networking.
- Familiarity with principles of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
- Experience developing eCommerce apps or integrating eCommerce functionality.
- Dependency management tools like Gradle and Jetpack libraries.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and the use of pull requests, code reviews, and collaboration in a team environment.
- Ability to write unit tests and UI tests.
- Experience with Push Notifications and offline storage solutions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes.
