Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer (Automation) with 3+ years of overall experience, including 2+ years in automation testing, to join our quality engineering team. The role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web and mobile applications while working closely with developers and QA analysts to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Work with industry-standard automation tools and frameworks (preferably Selenium WebDriver with Java and TestNG).
• Collaborate with developers and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
• Execute automation suites and analyze results to identify defects, performance issues, and quality gaps.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization to support timely releases.
• Report, track, and verify defects through their lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain test execution and automation reports.
• Provide technical guidance on automation tools, techniques, and best practices when required.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of functional and regression test automation.
• 3+ years of experience in automation testing for web and mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with Java and JavaScript.
• Experience writing automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver (Java) and Playwright.
• Solid knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience in API testing, as well as basic load and performance testing.
• Good exposure to test execution, defect management, and reporting.
