Responsibilities:

• The automation test engineers will use their expertise and discretion to determine the best approach to automated based on requirements, and which framework to use (UI/API) for building or updating existing tests, and then proceeds to design, write and maintain the tests
• The automation test engineer shall use existing tools in the client environment to build and modify test scripts but also must be open and ready to research, implement and use other automation tools as needed to generate the target outcomes for the client.
• The automation test engineer will support the planning, design and implementation of the automation frameworks
• The automation test engineer must also work to analyze, optimize and rationalize existing manual test cases to make the overall testing delivery more efficient and more conducive to automation

Mandatory Years NOTE

UI Test Automation Y 3 Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, UFT, etc.

API Test Automation Y 3 Rest Assured or equivalent API tool, like Soap UI Pro

Advanced Automation Development experience Y 3-5 General automation experience

Intermediate Software Testing Experience Y 5 General QA / Testing design, planning, optimization experience

Insurance Industry (US) experience N Preferred

Required Skills:

• XPath Expertise: Extensive knowledge of XPath and the ability to create and troubleshoot complex XPath expressions.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java, including understanding object-oriented programming concepts and test automation frameworks.
• Testing Frameworks: Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
