Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our agile product team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks to ensure the reliability and stability of applications before release. You will work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to embed quality across all stages of development while contributing to process improvement and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain automated regression tests using Selenium WebDriver and other tools.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create detailed test plans.
3. Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and validate fixes.
4. Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable reports to stakeholders.
5. Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
6. Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks.
7. Perform performance and load testing using tools like LoadRunner or equivalents.
8. Stay updated on emerging testing technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in software testing, with hands-on expertise in manual and automated testing.
3. Proficiency in C# and JavaScript for automation scripting.
4. Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.
5. Understanding of performance and load testing tools and methodologies.
6. Strong grasp of testing principles, QA methodologies, and SDLC best practices.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
9. [Optional] Certifications such as ISTQB or other test automation credentials.
