AWS Cloud Architect

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Solution Architect who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-native solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AWS Cloud architecture, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and AWS EKS. This role requires deep technical knowledge, solutioning capabilities, and the ability to drive cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze business requirements and design scalable, secure AWS-based solutions.
2. Lead application modernization and cloud migration efforts from on-premises to AWS.
3. Build and manage production-ready containerized workloads using Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
4. Define cloud architecture blueprints and documentation including infrastructure as code (IaC).
5. Plan and implement network design within AWS including VPC, subnets, routing, security groups.
6. Implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and logging for cloud-native applications.
7. Develop and document high-availability and disaster recovery strategies.
8. Evaluate and select appropriate AWS services to support cloud solutions.
9. Ensure compliance and security controls are met as per organizational and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. In-depth knowledge of core AWS services – EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.
2. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS in production environments.
3. Strong grasp of containerization technologies: Docker, Helm.
4. Experience designing and deploying highly available, scalable systems using AWS.
5. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
6. Solid understanding of VPC design, VPN, hybrid cloud setups, and inter-region connectivity.
7. Proven ability to design and implement DevOps workflows and automation.
8. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, etc.)
9. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
10. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate / Professional preferred.
