Job Description:
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and Linux servers in virtualized environments.
- Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages.
- Collaborate with development teams to create automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient code deployment.
- Continuously improve DevOps practices and ensure best practices are followed for deployments.
- Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Ensure system scalability, availability, and security through automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application issues.
- Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Apache, MySQL, nginx, etc on Linux environments.
- Strong grasp on configuration management tools.
- Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc.
- Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc.
- Ability to build and monitor services on production servers.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Knowledge of servers and switches.
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
- Ability to work in a team and troubleshoot issues under pressure.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
Skills Required:
- Relevant Experience: 2 to 3 Years
- Minimum Qualifications: Any Graduate
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Exposure to configuration management tools such as nGinx Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Assist in setting up monitoring and logging systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Understanding of containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required).
- Strong experience with MySQL, NoSQL such as MongoDB and Redis.
- Strong Experience with Version Control System such as Git.
- Strong Experience with Continuous Deployment tool like Jenkins.
- Strong Experience with load balancing tool like HAProxy and Nginx.
- A working understanding of code and script (PHP)
