DevOps Team Lead

Role Overview

We are hiring a DevOps Team Lead to head our DevOps operations for a diverse set of web platforms, including Magento (PHP), Odoo (Python), and Node.js applications. Based in Mumbai, this is a strategic role for someone with deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, containerization, and DevOps automation.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team of DevOps professionals.
2. Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
3. Oversee the deployment of applications such as:
4. Magento (PHP/MySQL)
5. Odoo (Python/PostgreSQL)
6. Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript)
7. Use Docker to containerize services and deploy via Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
8. Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
9. Maintain distinct environments (Dev, QA, Staging, Production).
10. Monitor systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or ELK stack.
11. Ensure system stability, cloud security, and cost-effective infrastructure.
12. Collaborate with engineering, QA, and support teams to streamline deployments.
13. Investigate and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and application issues.

Required Skills

1. 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud, or System Administration.
2. Minimum 2 years in a team leadership or managerial capacity.
3. Proven experience with:
4. Odoo on Ubuntu/Linux with PostgreSQL
5. Magento using Apache/Nginx, PHP-FPM, and MySQL/MariaDB
6. Node.js using PM2/Nginx or containers
7. Strong command of scripting (Bash, Python, PHP CLI, or Node CLI).
8. Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
9. Excellent Linux administration and networking skills.
10. Comfortable with Git, SSH, Nginx, and load balancers.
11. Strong communication skills with experience working across teams or with clients.

Preferred Certifications

1. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
2. Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
3. Google Cloud DevOps Engineer
4. Bonus: Hands-on experience with Magento Cloud or Odoo deployment

Desirable (Bonus) Skills

1. Experience with high-availability setups, disaster recovery, and multi-region systems.
2. Familiarity with Redis, RabbitMQ, Celery, and DB optimization techniques.
3. Exposure to GitOps tools such as ArgoCD, Helm, or Ansible Tower.
4. Knowledge of infrastructure security, VAPT 2.0, and WCAG standards.
