Job Title: Freelance CDM Programmer (Clinical)

Rate: Competitive in line with skills / experience

Type: Contract

My client, a global company within the life science arena, currently have an urgent requirement for several freelance CDM Programmers to join on a contractual basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in clinical databases, Oracle technologies, and EDC systems who is looking to further develop within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement global libraries and study-specific database setups for clinical trial applications
• Develop, test, and validate data checks and edit checks
• Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for end users
• Support system and application validation activities
• Work closely with Clinical Data Management and cross-functional study teams
• Maintain high standards of data integrity, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance
• Contribute to process improvements and technical problem resolution

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Biology, Health Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within a clinical trials or related environment
• Experience with Oracle or similar database applications in a programming or administration capacity
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or PL/SQL
• Experience with Medidata Rave and/or Rave certification preferred
• Understanding of relational database systems (RDBMS)
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of GCP and clinical research processes preferred
