Manager – HR Compliance (Gig Workforce)


Role Summary

Responsible for ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance related to gig workers, contractors, and platform-based workforce operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance under applicable labour laws including CLRA, Code on Social Security, EPF, ESI (where applicable), Shops & Establishment, etc.
  • Manage onboarding and documentation of gig workers.
  • Develop compliance frameworks for aggregator-based workforce.
  • Liaise with government authorities for inspections, notices, and audits.
  • Maintain statutory registers, filings, and documentation.
  • Conduct periodic internal compliance audits.
  • Coordinate with payroll & operations teams for compliance alignment.
  • Monitor state-specific gig worker regulations and advisories.


Eligibility

  • 5–10 years of experience in HR Compliance.
  • Mandatory experience in gig/aggregator platforms (Swiggy, Urban Company, Zepto, Zomato, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of labour law amendments and gig worker regulations.
  • Experience handling multi-state compliance.
