Job Summary

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain network security infrastructure. Responsible for protecting systems from cyber threats and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement secure network architecture (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, LAN/WAN/WLAN, SD-WAN, Cloud Networks).
2. Perform maintenance and upgrades (patches, hotfixes, configurations) for firewalls, cloud networks, switches, routers, and wireless.
3. Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network operations.
4. Establish and enforce security policies and access controls.
5. Analyze network data to predict and prevent performance issues.
6. Provide Tier 2/3 support for security-related incidents.
7. Maintain network diagrams, documentation, and configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
2. Proficient in networking technologies (WAN, VLANs, LAN segmentation, load balancers, routing protocols, firewalls, VPNs).
3. Experience with firewalls (Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto) and VPN setup/troubleshooting.
4. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, 802.1x, QoS).
5. Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure vNet peering, AWS VPC).
6. Ability to create detailed network diagrams and documentation.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Preferred certifications: CCNP Security, CCIE, CISSP, CEH.
