Overview

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Python and modern data engineering technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable data-driven solutions. The role involves creating reliable data pipelines, APIs, and orchestration workflows to power analytics and business-critical applications. You will work extensively with Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Python, and Airflow.

Responsibilities

1. Build and manage scalable data pipelines in Azure Databricks using PySpark.
2. Design transformation logic, optimize Delta Lake storage, and ensure efficient data workflows.
3. Develop and deploy REST APIs using FastAPI and Azure Functions for serverless operations.
4. Create and manage ETL processes with Apache Airflow for scheduled data ingestion.
5. Administer databases including PostgreSQL and MongoDB with optimized queries.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and high-performance solutions.
7. Maintain coding standards, documentation, and version control best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

1. 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
2. Strong knowledge of PySpark and Azure Databricks.
3. Hands-on experience with Delta Lake and large-scale data handling.
4. Proficiency in FastAPI and Azure Functions for API development.
5. Skilled in ETL pipeline design using Apache Airflow.
6. Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with data ingestion from external APIs or providers.
2. Background in optimizing pipelines for speed and scalability.
3. Familiarity with additional Azure services such as Data Lake and Azure Storage.
