Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced QA Manager – WordPress to lead and scale end-to-end quality assurance processes. This role requires strong leadership capabilities along with hands-on expertise in manual and automated testing for WordPress-based projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable deliverables while expanding automation and AI-driven QA capabilities
Key Responsibilities
• Lead QA strategy and execution for WordPress websites, themes, plugins, and WooCommerce projects
• Define and improve QA standards, test plans, and documentation
• Drive automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks
• Automate cross-browser testing, regression suites, and critical user flows
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Implement AI-assisted QA tools for defect detection and visual regression
• Mentor QA analysts and automation engineers
• Conduct QA audits, post-launch reviews, and root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with performance, SEO, and accessibility (WCAG/ADA) standards
Required Skills & Experience
• 6+ years of QA experience with 2+ years in leadership role
• Hands-on experience testing WordPress and WooCommerce solutions
• Experience building automated test suites (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Knowledge of BrowserStack, Percy, or visual regression tools
• Understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Lighthouse, GTmetrix, WAVE
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Experience with Jira, ClickUp, Trello or similar tools
Preferred Skills
• Experience with AI/ML-based QA tools
• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and technical SEO QA
• Experience testing headless WordPress (REST API/GraphQL)
• Exposure to LLM tools for test script generation
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
Note - Work from Office / 3 Months onsite than remote
