Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer with strong fundamentals in Ruby programming and a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of MVC architecture, RESTful API design, and database optimization, while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
2. Build and consume RESTful APIs, integrating with front-end and third-party services.
3. Optimize database queries and migrations using ActiveRecord.
4. Implement responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
5. Write and maintain unit and integration tests (RSpec/MiniTest).
6. Conduct debugging, performance profiling, and log analysis.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and developers.
8. Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
9. Follow secure coding practices and leverage Rails security features.
10. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
11. Maintain documentation aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.

Required Skills

1. Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails framework.
2. Solid understanding of OOP and MVC architecture.
3. Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, schema design, and query optimization.
4. Proficiency in API development and front-end basics (HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery).
5. Strong knowledge of Git (branching, merging, conflict resolution).
6. Experience with RSpec/MiniTest and code quality tools like RuboCop or SonarQube.
7. Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and basic cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
