Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end accounting including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing
- Handle GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and compliance
- Manage TDS calculations, returns, and compliance
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting (CPA Preferred)
- 7+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
