About the Role

A senior-level accounting position focused on general accounting operations and global payroll management. The role involves ensuring compliance with international standards, handling end-to-end payroll across multiple countries, and supporting audits, reporting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. General Accounting: Journal entries, reconciliations, monthly/annual closing, AP/AR, fixed assets, accruals, intercompany transactions, IFRS/US GAAP/local GAAP reporting, budgeting & forecasting.
2. Payroll (Global): Multi-country payroll processing, compliance with local tax & labor laws, vendor coordination, reconciliations, benefits, reimbursements, and query resolution.
3. Compliance & Reporting: Adherence to accounting & payroll standards, tax filings, social security contributions, management & statutory reporting, audit documentation.

Key Skills

1. Global payroll systems (ADP, SAP, Workday, Oracle).
2. IFRS/US GAAP & multi-country accounting.
3. ERP proficiency & advanced MS Excel.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills across time zones.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Preferred certifications: CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA.
3. 8–12 years of accounting & payroll experience (with 3+ years in global payroll).
