Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for enterprise-grade applications. This role requires strong hands-on development skills, a solid understanding of backend architecture, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.

• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications following best practices.

• Work with frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.

• Integrate third-party services and external APIs.

• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams for end-to-end delivery.

• Optimize application performance and improve system reliability.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality.

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.

• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Node.js.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

• Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.

• Strong understanding of REST API design and backend architecture principles.

• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

• Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

• Prior experience in enterprise or consulting environments.
