Responsiblity
Team & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers.
- Drive a culture of accountability, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Define and enforce DevOps best practices and team standards.
Infrastructure & Operations
- Own the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable infrastructure with Docker at its core.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Ensure high availability and security of production environments, including incident response and disaster recovery planning.
Source Control & Workflow
- Establish and maintain efficient, transparent Git workflows (e.g., GitFlow, trunk-based development).
- Collaborate with developers to improve branching, merging, and code review processes.
- Maintain visibility and traceability of all changes going into production.
Security & Monitoring
- Implement security best practices in DevOps (e.g., secrets management, image scanning, access control).
- Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
- 2+ years of leadership experience — managing people or leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Expert-level knowledge of Docker and containerized application deployment.
- Strong understanding of Git version control and experience setting up and managing collaborative workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
