Role Summary: We are seeking a hands-on and technically strong Team lead DevOps to lead our DevOps efforts across a suite of modern and legacy applications, including Odoo (Python), Magento (PHP), Node.js, and other web-based platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in CI/CD, automation, containerization, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), with a strong preference for certified professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps engineers.
2. Oversee the deployment and maintenance of applications like:

Magento (PHP/MySQL)

Odoo (Python/PostgreSQL)

Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript)

1. Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for each application using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
2. Handle environment-specific configurations (staging, production, QA).
3. Containerize legacy and modern applications using Docker and deploy via Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE) or Docker Swarm.
4. Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
5. Monitor application health and infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or equivalent tools.
6. Ensure systems are secure, resilient, and compliant with industry standards.
7. Optimize cloud cost and infrastructure performance.
8. Collaborate with development, QA, and IT support teams for seamless delivery.
9. Troubleshoot performance, deployment, or scaling issues across tech stacks.

Must-Have Skills:

1. 6+ years in DevOps/Cloud/System Engineering roles with real hands-on experience.
2. 2+ years managing or leading DevOps teams.
3. Experience supporting and deploying:
4. Odoo on Ubuntu/Linux with PostgreSQL
5. Magento with Apache/Nginx, PHP-FPM, MySQL/MariaDB
6. Node.js with PM2/Nginx or containerized setups
7. Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP infrastructure in production.
8. Strong scripting skills: Bash, Python, PHP CLI, or Node CLI.
9. Deep understanding of Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
10. Experience with Git, SSH, reverse proxies (Nginx), and load balancers.
11. Good communication skills and having exposure in managing clients.

Preferred Certifications (Highly Valued):

1. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
2. Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
3. Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
4. Bonus: Magento Cloud DevOps or Odoo Deployment Experience

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

1. Experience with multi-region failover, HA clusters, or RPO/RTO-based design.
2. Familiarity with MySQL/PostgreSQL optimization and Redis, RabbitMQ, or Celery.
3. Previous experience with GitOps, ArgoCD, Helm, or Ansible Tower.
4. Knowledge of VAPT 2.0, WCAG compliance, and infrastructure security best practices.
