Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Unity Developer to join our team and build high-quality 2D games using the Unity engine. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing engaging game mechanics, optimizing performance across devices, and collaborating with the team to deliver smooth, functional gameplay. Basic experience with Socket.IO or Photon for multiplayer functionality is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement game features based on design and technical specifications
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness across platforms
- Collaborate with designers and other developers for gameplay alignment
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Troubleshoot bugs and optimize existing code
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience with Unity (2D/3D)
- Strong knowledge of C# and object-oriented programming
- Basic familiarity with Socket.IO or Photon for multiplayer game development
- Understanding of Unity physics, animation systems, and UI frameworks
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork orientation
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other multiplayer networking frameworks
- Game optimization techniques for mobile, desktop, and other platforms
- Knowledge of in-game monetization strategies and analytics tools
