About the company: An early-stage startup with a global delivery center based in Ahmedabad and a team of more than 30 people.

Role: We are seeking a highly-skilled, experienced DevOps engineer to join our expanding Information Technology team. In this role, you will help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. You will help in deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.

Key Responsibility:

  • Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and
  • provisioning/maintaining IT infrastructure for DO platforms.
  • Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes
  • Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
  • Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
  • Identifying technical problems and deploying software updates and ‘fixes’
  • Collaborate with engineering team to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intende
  • Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
  • Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes that are efficient and effective
  • Incidence management and root cause analysis
  • Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required; master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
  • Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java
  • Configuration and managing AWS Cloud and its infrastructure
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles, especially
  • Lean-Agile framework
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools
