Responsibilities: 

• Perform thorough manual and automation testing on day-to-day basis.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and design appropriate test strategies.
• Automation of manual test cases and streamline the testing process.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems like Jira, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that software updates and enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Participate in peer reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on testing techniques, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, agile & scrum framework and best practices.
• Proficiency in at least one RPA tool is must to have such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or PowerShell for test automation.
• Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies, BDD and experience working in Agile teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• ISTQB certification is good to have.
