Key Responsibilities:
- Exclusively focused on pre-sales activities; no post-sales involvement.
- Develop and deliver compelling proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations that showcase potential solutions.
- Collaborate closely with prospective clients to thoroughly gather requirements, define critical business needs, and meticulously document functional and technical specifications.
- Lead pre-sales engagements, including the preparation of persuasive proposals, impactful presentations, comprehensive RFP responses, and effective PoCs.
- Demonstrate deep subject matter expertise within the Adobe Commerce, AEM, or broader eCommerce domain, effectively translating functional requirements into technical visions.
- Proactively contribute to the development of innovative ideas and methodologies through continuous engagement with customers and in-depth analysis of their business challenges.
- Support marketing initiatives by contributing to the creation of compelling case studies, portfolio content, and other marketing materials.
- Expertly gather and document detailed requirements, with a strong focus on eCommerce functionalities.
- Collect and rigorously analyze prospective clients' business requirements.
- Prepare precise and comprehensive requirement specification documents (BRD/FRS), user interface guides, functional specification documents, wireframes, and accurate estimations.
- Leverage knowledge of various eCommerce platforms (Adobe Commerce/Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce features) to enhance solution proposals.
- Accurately estimate the effort and scope of requirements within the context of different eCommerce platforms.
- Provide crucial documentation and support to the Business Development team to effectively convert leads and prospects into valued clients.
- Thoroughly document the outcomes of analyses and workflows, securing necessary sign-off from the client.
- Produce high-quality documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), presentations (PPT), and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between prospective clients and internal technical teams. Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Organize and lead productive meetings with clear objectives and actionable tasks.
- Comfortably and professionally interact with clients through various channels (phone, email, video conferencing, and in-person).
- Demonstrate a strong ability to multitask and work independently with initiative.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience specifically in a pre-sales Business Analyst role within the Magento/Adobe Commerce, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or broader eCommerce space.
- Proven experience in defining and documenting complex web systems and infrastructure.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage small teams or workstreams within a pre-sales context.
